A Sweet Southern Sip

Written By Michael Paladino 20 Aug 2014
You're not truly southern if you don't like these two things: sweet tea and pie.
What if we told you there is a way to combine the two in one delicious sweet sip?!
That's right y'all, Peaches N' Cream Iced Tea.
Combine the delicious taste of peach cobbler with the refreshing taste of sweet tea with this recipe!
Ingredients:
1 quart water
Red Rose Simply Indulge Peach Cobbler Black Tea Bags (for 2 quarts of water)
1 Cup light brown sugar
1 quart cold water
1/2 cup half and half
Ice
Fresh peach slices for garnish (optional)
Brown sugar for rim of glass (optional)
To prepare:
Bring one quart of water to a boil.
Add the Peach Cobbler Iced Tea and remove from heat.
Let steep for 5-7 minutes before removing the bag and adding sugar.
Stir to dissolve.
Combine with remaining quart of cold water and serve in glasses with sugared rim
and fresh peach garnish.
Add the half and half to the pitcher or individual glasses.
Enjoy the taste of the south!
